Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 1 January 2025
Our Commitment
Chabil Consulting Services is committed to ensuring that our website, www.chabilconsulting.com, is accessible to as wide an audience as possible — including people with disabilities. We continually review and improve the digital experience we provide to ensure we meet recognised accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
We are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some areas of the website are in ongoing development and we are working to address all known issues.
Measures We Take
To support accessibility, we take the following measures:
- Use semantic HTML to ensure content is properly structured and navigable;
- Provide meaningful alternative text for all informational images;
- Ensure sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds;
- Design for keyboard-only navigation throughout the site;
- Support screen reader compatibility using ARIA landmarks and roles where appropriate;
- Use responsive design so the site is usable across devices and screen sizes;
- Avoid content that flashes more than three times per second.
Known Issues
We are currently working to improve the following areas:
- Some PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully accessible — we are working to provide accessible alternatives;
- Certain interactive elements on third-party embedded tools may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA — we are engaging with those providers.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
This website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browsers:
- Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
- Voice control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking
- Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (current and immediately prior versions)
- Zoom functionality up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
